THE FOLLOWING WAYS OF SAVING MONEY ARE MY WAYS AND ARE MOST EFFECTIVE FOR ME
Separate wants from needs!
Many of us including me confuse needs and wants…If you start saving and not spend on every thing you want then you can save a lot of money! This can be done by writing a list before going for shopping so you do not lose time and money on unwanted things!
Do a price comparison, find a cheaper grocery store.
Most of us get in a routine of shopping at the same grocery store and we may not even realize that we’re not getting the best deal. Fortunately, there’s a simple way to find the cheapest store around. Just keep track of the 20 or so things you buy most often, then shop for these items at a variety of stores. Eventually, one store will come out on top for your purchases.
Prepare meals at home.
Get an accessible and easy-to-use cookbook and try making some of the dishes inside. You’ll find that cooking at home is much easier than you think and way cheaper and healthier than take-out or dining out.
Try to fix things yourself!
Years ago, it was far more difficult to find ways to fix everyday items we have in our homes. But today, it should be a piece of cake. You can find online tutorials and videos that show you how to fix almost anything, all for free. No matter what you’re trying to fix, it’s always worth a shot.
Take public transportation.
If the city’s transit system is available near you, take it to work or school instead of driven there by car. It’s far cheaper!
Buying a ticket that lasts for a month is worth the money because if you take public transportation every day you would pay anywhere from half a dollar to two dollars for a ride but with the monthly ticket you pay 20 dollars for as many rides as you want for a whole month!
ps: tell me how you save money down in the comments 😀
